Since the Launch of PTCL EVO Nitro in August old PTCL EVO devices have experienced a sudden slow down, I personally have noticed the fact as I use EVO during my travels. Another fact that is worth noticing is that the device also heats up to a large extent. My PTCL EVO ZTE 2726 device some times heats up so much that it is unbearable if you touch it more than two seconds! This has started after the launch of EVO Nitro. As far as my technical knowledge works, we all know that to shift from EVO 3.1Mbps to 9.3Mbps you need to get the firmware of your device upgraded. I guess this is the mean reason why 3.1Mbps devices have started heating up too much, PTCL has not allocated a separate frequency band for its EVO Nitro Rev B device which should have been done.
